It was Tina & Dans wedding on Saturday. They got married at St Leonards church followed by a reception at The Cromwell Lodge in Banbury. It chucked it down in the morning but that didn't dampen anyones spirits. More photos from their wedding can be seen on our gallery page.

I met Lucy & Tim at Broadway Tower near Evesham for an engagement photo shoot yesterday. When I suggested Broadway Tower, I envisaged bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds and wild flowers on the ground lit by beautiful sunshine. What we got instead was very dramatic, stormy skies and a stiff breeze which were the next best thing. We managed to get some shots in the bag before the heavens opened

Only one event on for us this weekend which is a nice change for this time of year. It was Cassington Bike night on Monday night. This is an annual event that raises money for the local school. It seems to be getting bigger every year, there was a huge amount of bikes there (and all very well behaved).

Yesterday was "Full Monty" day at Tanks A Lot in Northamptonshire. On selected Saturdays throughout the day you can visit them and drive a range of off road vehicles including the mighty Russin Gvozdika tank. I was back at Guys hospital for the first time this year. I'd a great weekend there, despite the horrible weather on Sunday. Myself and Jozef shot the Virgin London marathon yesterday for Guy's and St Thomas' Charity. Our brief was to get shots of the athletes running for the charity, and also pictures of families and supporters and general pictures of the atmosphere of the event.

Updating my blog is the last thing I'm going to do today before settling down on the sofa to watch yesterdays Grand Prix.  Our weekend started on Friday evening with a Black Tie Ball in Central London. I'd a great evening, meeting some lovely people and listening to a great live band. By the time we got home and got to bed it was 4am, then up again at 7am to go to Tanks A Lot in Northamptonshire.

We had a very cold photo session at Broughton Castle on Saturday. Michelle and Simon are getting married in Banbury in June and having a reception in South Newington afterwards. We had the first two charity abseils of the season today. One in Central London and an indoor one in the House of Frazer in Reading. Jasmin, the labrador in these pictures, is not the easiest dog to photograph. She seems to have endless amounts of energy and won't stay still for a second. Thankfully it's a sunny day so I could use high shutter speeds to freeze the action. A photo session with us costs £50 and lasts about an hour and also includes a 7x5 print. Yesterday was the annual Cat and Fiddle sponsored cycle challenge, organised by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Dispite the inclement weather there was a huge turn out, with well over 1000 cyclists tackling the 50 mile course. Thank you to Mark & Orla for spending the morning with me in the cold and the rain.

The Anthony Nolan Trust had their annual "Only Fools Fun Run" today. It is held in the grounds of Blenheim Palace around the cross country course. It's a brilliant event with lots of participants donning their finest fancy dress outfits.

Steve & Georgina's wedding took place on Saturday in Shipston On Stour. They walked to and from the church from their home and had a marquee in their back garden, a refreshing change from the traditional vintage car from church to hotel. There was a huge amount of effort and creativity put into decorating the marquee and it looked amazing.

I took quite a few pictures of this combine harvester at work this evening. These guys haven't got it easy at this time of year, long hours of very monotonous work. I bet it would be great fun to drive a combine harvester, but I'm sure the novelty would wear off very quickly when you're just going up and down a huge field.

I had a photo session with Gem and Tony at Oundle Mill in Northamptonshire on Saturday. We had the portrait session as a way of getting to know each other, and having a trial run for the big day. They're a lovely couple and have found a fantastic venue for there wedding reception. It's going to be a real pleasure to shoot their wedding.

I met Annie and her fiance, Lewis, this evening for a portrait session. We had a stroll around Middleton Cheney and visited the church where they will be getting married next September. They were a bit nervous getting their pictures taken to start with, but very soon relaxed and we got some lovely shots.

Yesterday was Beau & Carolines big day. They got married in Hook Norton Church and then had a reception at Rye Hill Golf Club in Milcombe.During my time with them recently I feel that they have become good friends and not just clients.It was a pleasure to photograph their wedding and I wish them every happyness in the future.

"The Best Of" hosted a charity golf day today at Silverstone Golf Club to raise funds for the local air ambulance. I got pictures of all the golfers teeing off, and then got more shots of them at the 18th green.

I met up with Andy and Kate this evening near Guildford. We went for a quick walk along a nearby forest track, and then took some more shots in their back garden. Unfortunately it got very dark and overcast when we were taking the photos, as soon as I packed up my gear and started heading home, the sun came out again and it was a lovely evening.

I've spent the last two days on the roof of the International Press Centre photographing 130 people abseiling down the side of the building. The weather was fantastic and the views over London were amazing.

One of the great things about living close to Silverstone circuit is seeing the Red Arrows display on British Grand prix day. Their displays really are an amazing spectacle.

Jacobs mum booked a portrait session to take some photos of him dressed up for his prom. As he is quite into motorbikes, we decided to use my bike as a prop which worked out quite well. We then met up with his friends for a few group shots before they went to the venue.

I was meant to be at Guys Hospital in London for three days, but Saturdays event was cancelled, so just Sunday and Monday it was. This is a great venue for an abseil, the views from the top are awesome, it's easy to get to and, at 450 feet, it's the highest civilian abseil you can do in the UK. If you are going to do a charity abseil, this is the one to go for.

Yesterday was a great day. I was covering an abseil at Symonds Yat near the South Wales/England border. I went on my motorbike and had a great ride there on some fantastic roads. Symonds Yat is a great venue for an event like this, there are stunning views and it really is a beautiful part of the country. It's that time of year again. The Thornborough 10k & Fun Run is held every May bank holiday Monday around the little village of Thornborough, which is between Milton Keynes and Buckingham. There's always a great community spirit and holiday atmosphere about this event. Although I never make a lot of money from it, I still always enjoy going to this event.

This has a been a busy and tiring weekend. I covered a Zip Slide at Baiting Dam near Halifax yesterday, and an abseil at Pilgrims Hospital in Boston today. We went to Sea Palling yesterday to visit Mandie's parents who were staying over there in their caravan. I love going to sea side, no matter what the weather is like. In fact, I nearly prefer it in the winter when there are less people about, if you're wrapped up well it's great. Sheri, our dog, loved it as well. She's not so keen on the water but loves tearing around in open spaces.

Avon Gorge in Bristol is one of my favourite places to photograph abseiling. When the sun is out it's a wonderful place to spend the day, sitting on the edge of a cliff with an amazing view, meeting lots of new people and taking photos all day.This is a two day abseil, talented freelance photographer Misha Ostromecki is covering it for me tomorrow when I cover another abseil in Oxford.
